Utah Trip over spring break

March 25-April 1, 2016

For spring break we decided to take a trip to Utah. It was great to get to see so much family.

We drove all day Friday and got in to Aunt Lisa's house in time to visit with Grandma & Grandpa Rasband (in town from St. George)

On Saturday we went to a park in Provo with some of Scott's siblings (it was pretty cold)

unfortunately our original choice of parks was swamped with an Easter Egg hunt, so we opted for another one

Saturday afternoon I got together with my family for my cousin Sarah's bridal shower.

Easter Sunday we went to Melissa & Sam's ward bright at early.

In the afternoon we decided to walk over to the Provo Temple (which is pretty much across the street from Melissa & Sam's apartment)

Then in the evening we headed over to my Aunt Lisa's house to visit with my family

On Monday we went with my mom, Hannah & Lydia to the children's museum at Thanksgiving Point

The kids had a great time. Unfortunately Katelyn wasn't feeling the best, so she was a little difficult. Guess we are spoiled because she is usually very happy and easy going.

On the way home, we stopped by the Provo City Center Temple for a quick photo. Unfortunately it was raining, so we didn't get a chance to walk around the temple grounds.

We ate dinner at Hannah and Stephen's basement apartment (the same one that Scott and I lived in when we were newly married). After dinner, we walked to a nearby park.

On Tuesday we went to the Bean Museum with Melissa, baby Landon & Scott's sister Hannah

(actually the elevator was HUGE - probably so it is easier to transport the exhibits)

On Wednesday we got together with the Cranes in Utah. We met at Scott's Aunt Beverly's house in Bountiful and had a nice lunch and visit.

Wednesday night we went to Dallin & Paola's house to hang out and have dinner. It was fun to finally get to see their condo. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures.

On Thursday we hung out at Aunt Lisa's house. It was nice to have a relaxing day after so many outings. Hanging out with the Gordon's always brings back memories from college when we would stay up late playing games and hanging out.

On Friday we went swimming at the Provo Rec Center. It was fun to have family from Scott's side and my side join us swimming for our last day in Utah. Matthew, Cameron and Brandon had a blast - they could have stayed all day. Katelyn kept getting cold, but she really liked the lazy river.
