outside

Brandon loves to go outside. In fact, the other day when Matthew and Cameron escaped leaving the front door open, Brandon was so excited. He crawled as fast as he could to join in their fun only to have the door quickly shut in front of him. Let’s just say he wasn’t so happy. But he got his way once I got a jacket on him.

Two days ago it was sunny, yesterday it rained and today it is snowing. I don’t think the weather men even know what to expect.

 

brandon's first hair cut

Scott cut Brandon's hair for the first time last week. He was very fascinated with the clippers and cooperated surprisingly well.

Scott's older sister Mindy had her fifth child a few weeks ago and when we went to visit them I got to take a few pictures of her new baby Ruby.

rainy day fun

I had picked up two umbrellas at the dollar store back in November and finally got them out of the closet. The boys were so excited to have their own umbrella, and since they were only a dollar I let them do whatever they wanted. Matthew insisted on trying to figure out how to fly with an umbrella (thank you Mary Poppins) and after jumping off many different objects, he decided he just didn't have something high enough to jump off of.

Holding up a pair of scissors Matthew asks, "Are these safety scissors?" I reply with a quick, "Yes" as I go over  to help Brandon who is standing up holding onto the couch. "Ouch!" I hear coming from the other room followed by, "Yep, these are safety scissors." Matthew had decided to test them out by trying to cut Cameron's arm --leaving only a few white scratch marks.

Oh, what I get to look forward to... I wonder what Mathew will try out next on Cameron (or worse--Brandon)...
