California (5/5): reunion day 3

after some pictures we broke into teams for Olympics...

 the reunion ended with the kids singing, "I hope they call me on a mission"

these two became best buds

exploring outside for hours...

look at all the caterpillars they collected...

California (4/5): reunion day 2

Friday morning was our work project... adding a brick patio around the sand box and creating a brick path at the front of the house.

the kids took a break...

in the afternoon the adults went to the Sacramento Temple while Hannah and Stephen watched the kids

and in the evening we had a Minute-to-Win-it competition...

one more day of fun...

California (3/5): reunion day 1

In the morning we went miniature golfing...

which is actually quite tricky with seven kids five and under

It got pretty hot so we headed inside for arcades...

then back to my parent's house to roast hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire...

then we learned about Ohio and made posters as teams (since that is where Daniel is going on his mission)...

and finished off the night with lip syncs
