I think I have decided that out of strawberry, blackberry and blueberry picking--blueberry is the most fun with kids. Matthew and Cameron loved running around with their buckets and I didn't have to worry about them stepping on berries (strawberries) or getting poked (blackberries). Plus I was able to contain Brandon to a stroller (which would not have worked for strawberry picking--at least where we went). And it is pretty obvious for kids to tell when the berries are ripe. What a fun day!
