Mommy, color on paper

“Mommy, only color on paper” is what Matthew was yelling at me as I climbed out of the shower. Ah, oh what has he done? I thought, as I envision drawings all over the walls of our apartment. I was amazed when I found Matthew sitting with 8 markers, all of which lids were off waiting for me to get him paper so he could color. Wow! I can’t believe it! He actually followed the rule that he can only color on paper and was waiting patiently. I hurried to get him paper that he could color on and plopped him in the high chair to contain his art work. I’m so glad he listens (at least some of the time).

Fun with Miriam

My sister Miriam stayed with us for a few days and we got to do all sorts of fun things in the city. It was so nice to have lots of help with Matthew and Cameron while Scott is in school. Here are some pictures from our adventures:

Boating

We got to go boating with some friends over the 4th of July weekend. This was Matthew and Cameron's first experience on a boat. At first Cameron and I sat in the back, but it was really windy and he was much happier when we moved to the front.

Can you see Matthew? It was nice we got him to fall asleep :)

We also got to go swimming in a pool over the 4th. Cameron loved the water, but it was a little too cold for Matthew.
