Bear Lake and The Extended Flinders Family Reunion

On Friday morning (June 30th) we drove from Vivian Park, UT to Bear Lake. We got an early enough start we had some time to play at the lake before meeting up with other extended cousins and relatives for the official start to the reunion.

It was fun Daniel and Olivia could cut their honeymoon a bit short and join us at the reunion!

My sister Hannah was in charge of organizing group photos - oh what a task! Here are some of the photos she got
{note, I didn't label every photo, but from this point forward Hannah took all of the rest of the photos in this post - Thanks Hannah!}

It's fun to see my dad goofy around his siblings :)

This is a trip that I'd been excited/nervous about for weeks. It is hard to be away from Scott for so long and there were just so many places we would be staying along the way. Lots to pack in and up and get ready over and over again. Luckily my parents are very helpful and I never heard my dad complain about having to help out, climb on top of the big van/unpack the top carrier etc. One night I was most nervous about was the "camping" night at the reunion where all of the tents would be so close to each other. Sometimes Lincoln cries in the night and I didn't want to be a part of the domino of children crying/waking each other up. My backup plan was that if Lincoln cried in the night, I would just give him a bottle and he would drink it and go back to sleep. Well, I want to stay around 3am on Friday night /Saturday morning Lincoln woke up crying, I brought him in my sleeping bag with me and tried to snuggle him because maybe he was cold. I gave him a bottle hoping that would do the final trick. Well, it settled him for a min. and he didn't drink very much of it. A little while later he threw it up all over me and my hair and the tent. Luckily my parents came to the rescue - I woke them up and my dad cleaned up the mess while I tried to rinse off the best I could and then he drove me and Lincoln around in the car until Lincoln fell back asleep. My mom went and laid by Katelyn in case she woke up then she wouldn't be all alone.
Looking at this cute little guy, you would have never known the night before was so rough!

Thanks to my cousin Lisa and the amazing committee that put this all together. There were so many people that came and so much planning that made it all happen!
