It’s amazing how many people comment on the fact that you
are pregnant. They’ll ask when you are due and then make a comment like, “oh
you have that much left” or, “I
thought you were farther along” sometimes followed up by, “well it is your 4th”
Some people will try to compliment by saying, “your tiny” but then you start to
wonder whether something is wrong and your baby is not growing properly. I’ve
decided the best thing to say to someone that is pregnant is, “you look great”
and leave it at that. Now, with that said, I’m not one to take offense, but I
do find it interesting how much people like to comment on your “baby bump.”
I’m officially to 33 weeks now (for perspective Matthew came
at 27 and Brandon at 29). One more week and I can deliver at the local
hospital! Now who knows, I’ll probably go all the way to my due date (March 3rd)
or maybe I’ll even be late, but the worry of having an early baby/one that will
have to stay in the NICU decreases every day. Braxton hicks are definitely
starting to pick up now (several per day) but so far, no labor progress. The boys
are really cute when it comes to their little baby sister. Matthew always wants
to see if he can feel her kick. I’m just a bit worried about how Brandon will
react when she arrives. Only time will tell…
