Scott's siblings Hannah and Tyler came to visit all of us in Washington.

While they were here we got to go blackberry picking...

we ended up picking enough berries to make two cobblers--delicious!

Hannah & Stephen's Wedding

Hannah & Stephen got married in the Salt Lake temple this weekend. It was great getting to go to Utah and see so much family (even if it was a short trip and lots of driving). We really appreciated Scott's sisters watching our boys during the wedding and luncheon so we could enjoy ourselves. Hannah wore my mom's wedding dress with a few alterations (sleeves, belt and neckline). We missed Daniel (he's on a mission for our church in Cleveland, OH) and Rebekah (she had a baby boy on Monday).

The wedding luncheon was at the Lion House

the food was delicious and the program was wonderful!

The reception was at the Museum of Art in Springville

I can't wait to see the pictures from her photographers 

(since I kept telling myself to just enjoy the day and let them take pictures).

Jaden's birthday

We got together to celebrate Jaden's 10th birthday. He decided to have a "mad scientist" themed party and the kids loved all of the experiments!

camping at sol duc hot springs

July 18-20, 2013
We went camping in the Olympic National Forest and spent one of the days at Sol Duc Hot Springs. The kids had a great time playing with cousins, enjoying the outdoors, going swimming, hiking and eating lots of yummy food. Here are some pictures from our camping adventures...

 I couldn't help but snap some pictures of the boys in the morning. We opted to let Brandon sleep with the "big boys" in sleeping bags (since he can climb out of a pack and play anyway). They started off the night in a nice little row... and look where Brandon ended up.

and there's Matthew...

we counted 17 mosquito bites on Cameron's face... poor kid, I guess a mosquito got in the tent (and preferred his blood over Brandon & Matthew... I think Scott killed it when we joined them for bed)

 I think Brandon wins the prize for most pictures this trip. 

Although it is hard to reject his sweet little voice "take a pic-shaw mommy"
