Mud Mountain Dam

In honor of Garet and Scott's Dad's birthday we went to Mud Mountain Dam for a picnic, hike, and playtime at the park and water. As "party favors" the boys got pirate patches and all the kids got candy necklaces. Cameron immediately fell in love with his pirate patch and insisted on wearing it the whole time.

Somehow timing worked out perfectly and the exact weekend I was in California for a wedding, my brother, his wife and their baby also flew to California for a wedding. We were able to have a fun (but short) visit.

amy's wedding

One of my best friends since fifth grade (Amy) got married in Loomis, CA and I was able to fly out for a quick weekend trip to be at her wedding. It was great getting to catch up with so many high school friends and enjoy the special day with Amy and Tyler.

Scott's brother Tyler served a two year mission in Russia for our church. We were able to go to the airport to pick him up...

Puyallup Fair

Scott had the day off of work so we got to go to the Puyallup Fair as a family. Since some of Scott's family work at the fair (as the characters) we got to hang out with them for part of the time too.

Cameron's 3rd birthday

Cameron had a fun birthday weekend... we started off the celebration with a family party Friday night.

Cameron got some bath toys from Grandma and Grandpa Flinders so the boys decided to take a bath for about an hour...

Then on Saturday we headed over to Scott's parents house (about an hour from where we live). And on Sunday (9/11) Cameron got to open presents from Grandma and Grandpa Crane. Here's Cameron sitting in his "birthday chair"

Camping Trip

We decided to go on one last camping trip before school started for the kids (none of our kids are in school yet, but our nieces and nephews are). We went to Zion's Camp in Washington. We rented A frames--the kids slept in bunk beds on the bottom and there was a loft up top for the adults.
