It was so fun just getting to hang out and relax on our trip.

Melissa (Scott's sister) was able to take time off work and hang out with us. One of the days we went to Bridal Veil Falls.

Matthew in 100 words

For Scott's September break from school we decided to take a family vacation to Utah to visit relatives, hang out and relax. While there Matthew (and Cameron) got plenty of attention from all of the relatives. One of my cousins, Hadley, decided she would do a little school for Matthew. One of the days she interviewed him and typed up a little paper about him. This is what she wrote:

Matthew is a 3 year old with tons of excitement bundled up inside his tiny body! Matthew’s favorite colors are yellow and orange, and his favorite foods are chicken nuggets and apples. Matthew likes BYU a lot and his favorite animal is an elephant. When asked what an elephant says he made a, “RRRRRRR” sound. Matthew loves playing with balls and when I asked him if he was a good big brother he replied,” Ya, but sometimes I say potty words.”  I then asked him what happens when he says potty words he said, “I don’t know, maybe soap in your mouth.” So there’s Matthew in about 100 words!

Cameron--my two year old

Cameron would stay in his jammies all day, every day if we let him

He loves his blanket and anything soft

He weighs about as much as Matthew (ok not quite… 27 pounds vs. 31 pounds)

He eats twice as much as Matthew

He copies everything Matthew does (sometimes unfortunately)

He loves the bath but is terrified of getting water on his head/in his eyes

He has been known to say random phrases like, “I want to eat the meerkats”

He loves to “wig” (shake his head back and forth as fast as he can) and often announces, “Watch me wig!”

Favorite cereals: Rye Bipies (Rice Krispies), Ucky Chucks (Lucky Charms) and Brown Flakes (Bran Flakes)

He tells you when he needs to go potty, but he won’t go when you take him

He loves jumping on the trampoline and we often find him using our bed as a substitute

Hard to believe he's already 2!!
