Lily's Baptism and the Ping Pong Table

January 14-18, 2021

For Christmas this year my parents gave us the gift of "quality time" and planned a trip to come and visit us. Because of covid, we had to be flexible and ended up with option "P" for ping-pong table. Thursday night, Scott and I went on a "date" to the airport and came back with a surprise - Meema and Grandpa. Then, Friday morning surprise number two arrived when my parents went in with us to get our family a ping-pong table. Friday afternoon surprise number three showed up - my brother Joseph, his wife and their three kids. The kids had a great time playing games, dancing, ping-pong and all sorts of other activities that they came up with. My brother Joseph also planned a Mandalorian themed escape room which was another fun activity. Then on Sunday we had Lily's baptism. Matthew gave the talk on baptism and I gave the talk on the Holy Ghost. For Matthew's talk, he used the object lesson with bleach and food coloring and I shared a story about finding lost keys in my purse. Monday morning the Flinders cousins left and Monday afternoon my parents flew out. It was a fun extended weekend!
