We decided to go to a park and play all day while we waited for fireworks to start. When we got there we were the first ones, but as time went on, more and more of the grass got claimed until by the end almost every square inch of grass was claimed. The kids had a great time playing with cousins on the park equipment, eating food and playing the lawn games we brought.

The fireworks were fun, but a bit obstructed by the trees. It took us over an hour to get back to Mindy's because of all the traffic.
