Northwest Trek

The kids got free tickets for Northwest Trek from the summer reading program, 

so we decided to go check it out. 

 We let Katelyn out of the stroller to run around for a minute and while she was looking at one of the habitats, she stuck her foot in between some wooden bars and got her shoe stuck. When she pulled her foot out, her shoe fell down into a little creek. 

We were able to get a worker to fish her shoe out. 

 She wasn't very happy to be confined to a stroller or our arms the rest of the outing.

We went on the tram ride...

Ate a picnic lunch and then snapped some pictures...

the bears were pretty active, pacing back and forth...

it is crazy how old trees are!
