We went strawberry picking again this year and the strawberries were delicious! Things like Matthew having to go to the bathroom as soon as we got out to the field and Brandon picking green strawberries made things a bit tricky, but we still managed to pick enough strawberries to make a strawberry rhubarb pie, strawberry freezer jam, eat fresh strawberries dipped in sour cream and then brown sugar (seriously delicious if you haven't tried that) and have a few extra to freeze for later. It was really sunny and hot (last year was misty/rainy--which was definitely nicer than the heat, but at least this time we didn't have to worry about mud).
